Applications are now open for scholarship awards for the 2024/2025 academic year, available for study at institutions of higher learning in the Russian Federation. Suitably qualified Ghanaians are invited to apply. Here are the eligibility criteria:
UNDERGRADUATE:
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
i. Be a Ghanaian citizen residing in Ghana.
ii. Have completed their Senior High School Education (WASSCE) within the last 2 (two) years (i.e., 2021 or 2022).
iii. Score Aggregate six (6) to Nine (9) for Medicine and a minimum of aggregate fifteen (15) for other programs.
iv. Must not be more than twenty-three (23) years of age.
POSTGRADUATE:
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
i. Hold a second class upper bachelor's degree in a relevant subject.
ii. Provide a list of publications, if any.
iii. Proficient in the Russian language (both spoken and written).
iv. Must have completed National Service with two (2) years of post-qualification experience.
v. Must not be more than thirty-five (35) for Masters and 40 years age for PhD.
vi. Medical Specialty requires 5 years of working experience after completion of the General Medical Programme.

MODE OF APPLICATION:
The Russian Government has implemented an online application system for scholarship applicants. All candidates must fill out the application form on the online platform www.education-in-russia.com. Additionally, applicants must upload the following documents to their personal accounts, along with notary-certified translations (from English to Russian language):
- Passport (bio-data or front page only)
- Educational documents (WASSCE certificate, Diploma, Transcript)
- Medical report, confirming the candidate's absence of hepatitis and tuberculosis diseases
- HIV test
The deadline for online applications is October 31st, 2023. Applications in "draft" status will not be considered.
SUBMISSION TO THE SECRETARIAT:
Applicants are required to print a hard copy of the online application form, sign it, and submit it along with all the required academic documents no later than Friday, November 10th, 2023, to the address below:
